TOGAF is one of the most popular EA frameworks today and many organizations consider it to be the de facto standard. As of 2016, the Open Group reports that TOGAF is employed by 80% of Global 50 companies and 60% of Fortune 500 companies. Yet research shows that often TOGAF recommendations are found to be inapplicable and difficult to implement.

The idea to put together an expert group of LeanIX power users came up in the summer of 2016 in various discussions with advanced (multi-year) users of LeanIX. The group met informally for the first time on October 5th in Berlin at Zalando as a warm-up for the LeanIX EA Connect Day. We agreed to get back together again to exchange experiences and best-practises. The idea is to keep the group pretty small, focused on advanced users and sales-free. Each user shall bring a real-life topic out of their own experience with a brief presentation and facilitate the discussion in the peer group. MITC has been nominated to official Signavio Consulting Partner. This is great news and means that we can help our customers to extend the collaborative Lean Enterprise Architecture approach to Business Process Management. Signavio has an out-of-the-box integration with LeanIX and is available as Software as a Service offering.

The Signavio Process Editor (Business Process Management), the Signavio Decision Manager (Business Decision Management) and Signavio Workflow (process execution):

• enable social networking based around business processes;

• provide beginners with intuitive access to BPM
